Pittsburgh Homeless Shelter Prepares To Open Doors, Gets Support From Local Company - 05/05/09
The Living Ministry, a Pittsburgh, PA ministry and homeless shelter preparing to open its doors within the coming weeks received some community support when local exterior cleaning and power washing company, Mr. Scrubit, donated its time and resources. Mr. Scrubit spent a day at The Living Ministry's North Side location helping to restore the aged brick home and create a welcoming atmosphere at the once abandoned location. In addition, Mr. Scrubit has already pledged future time and support to the shelter which was characterized by owner, Jason Scarborough, as "a valuable community resource with passionate leadership that is sure to make a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and the community as a whole".
